I wish people wouldn't do that patience is a virtue, anyway I really like number 3 and 6, number 1 is kind of a picture of nothing and number 2 I'm not sure which duck is the subject as none seem to be fully in focus.

not bad for a first attempt but they don't do anything for me unfortunately.

i think you have struggled in the available light and the photos seems to to be quite flat and dull.

number 3 is the best out of all of them though but maybe a less of a crop on the left hand side.

how you getting on with the 50mm? i got one for xmas and love it.i just need to get out more!

One other thing I've noticed from a second look is that your looking down on the subject quite alot I think the composition would definately benefit from you getting down lower.

any lower i'd be rolling around in duck poop  :gag: as I took all the ones of the ducks nealing

thats the diference between a good photo and a great photo!

rolling around in 5hit for a few minutes gets reward with a lifetime of great photos ;)

Keep snapping away!! you're doing well.
The one with the trees is cropped a bit tight. You should have got all of the two large ones in the frame.
Well done !
