Saw this little duck on our local river while walking the dogs this after.

All with Canon 1Ds MKII, 70-200 F2.8 lens+ 1.4 TC, ISO800 , spot metering , hand held.

Lovely images, #3 is my fave ... as well as the colour it has mega cute appeal too! :thumbs:



EDIT: This months theme for TPF POTY year is 'Colourful' but any images entered must not have been seen on TPF prior to the comp.

my apologies, someone got a similar photo on the tpf poty comp, just dug it out and they diff photos. had a scary thought someone pinched your photo then. but they are different, my bad:bonk:

I like number 2 best but the view point of number 3. Great shots, if you ever get chance to go to Etherow park in Marple they have around 30 breeding pairs of Mandarins. Got a few shots on my site in the wildlife and nature section.

No1 is looking great as my desktop, lovely rich blue background that is showing up my programs real nicely but without hiding too much of the image :)

Very nice shots Les, 3rd shot takes it for me although a tad shadow/highlight lift may help. Aside from that very minor niggle, excellent set of shots, very nicely done :thumbs:
