Slave sync speed issues

Hi,
I have a pair of 180w Slave heads which I am radio syncing the first then in turn that is IR kicking the second. My issue is I can't seem to get them to sync with my camera any faster than 1/90 sometimes at 1/125, is this normal ? if so what is the best settings to use ?
both heads are flashing just I'm getting a black image or a black 1/3rd of the image. I'm guessing it's the curtain..

Checked the sync speed of the Samsung and it should be 1/180. There may be a delay in the speed that the radio trigger fires the first flash.

Try using a sync lead to fire the first flash and see what happens.

If it looks OK then I would say it's the trigger that's the problem.

If it does turn out to be the trigger then you can simply set you shutter speed to around 1/90, or try some other method to fire the flashes. Maybe using a low cost IR slave may help!
