Another goodie Hairy, but I do think it might be slightly over sharpened
Like it! I think the focus point is just past his head, but it's hard when the little fellas won't keep still !

Great shot of a very difficult target ... ... nicely done ... ;)
:p
not as good as the bluetit and a little blurred?
Great! Can you expain to a photo-noob how you took this shot - which camera, lens and how far away you were from the subject?
Thanks,
Texy

had a good day didn't you!!

Thanks for the comments.
This one did need some sharpening, and I probably did overdo it a bit Jo. Never know when to stop
They do seem to nip about a bit, but great fun trying to get a good one.
Texy I use a 400D with a Canon 70-300 IS lens. Was probably 6 to 10 feet away most of the time. This one was further away in a tree. Still new to all this myself; only got my camera last August ;)
There's a place near me where a lot of dog walkers go, and a few people put seed down for the birds and squirrels. They just don't seem bothered by me, so long as I don't get too close.
Richard, I had a brilliant day. A lot of dud shots, but the few good ones more than made up for it.
Thanks again for all the comments
