Well, the other day, the sun was sort of out, and i decided that i wanted to shoot some of the birds that were feeding from the feeders on the trees outside my window. after about an hour of failed attempts at half decent shots, this little chap perched himself and started staring at me taking shots of his mates below. Anyway, as i raised the camera and pointed it at him, he started staring me out, it was a perfect setup. But, sods law hit, and as i pressed the shutter, he turned his back on me, and this was the shot i got!

PS, in my defence, i was shooting through a rather dirty window!

Hi Rozzy, thats wildlife photography for you :) , they seem to have a built in ability to know when your about to take the photo.

It's a Goldfinch. They've been giving me the run around today. When I went in, they came out! And when I caught them, they were always facing the wrong way!

we have quite a few of these as my dad has a thing about his birds! iv seen coal tits, blue tits, collared doves, even the odd pheasent!
