Kestrel ?

I realise that this is a ver poor pic, but I've seen this bird loads, and never had my camera ready.

I saw it today out of the bathroom window and legged downstairs to grab my camera. This is the best shot I could get of it. I presume its a Kestrel, but wanted to double check.

I'll have to sit in the bathroom with my tripod and camera ready for hours if I want to catch it again. I've never seen it resting on the hedge as it was today, only ever in flight so I was quite excited when I saw it !!

Yep a Kestrel, i like the old country name for these-Windhover.

Definately a kestral, it looks relatively small so Id be suprised if it was any of the bigger ones!
