when i open raw files in elements3 i do not get the full raw conversion desktop only the ev and white balance if when i opened a raw file from a cd of a well known mag i got the whole thing any help or ideas would be great thanks

what camera are you using Steve?(i know its a Nikon!)

Most here would recommend Raw Shooter Essentials, its free and very good!

If'n you got a newish Nikon you should, at least have Picture Project no ? This opens NEF's fine I think !

I think its saying its not compatible with your computer rather than the D50.

I have a D50 and so far have only used Picture Project. It seems to work fine.

Sounds like you need CS :D
Elements and Rawshooter may need additional plug-ins - try their sites for updates.

cool thread,
i just downloaded and installed/registered rawshooter essentials,

as all it got in PSCS was a small screen with a few choices as above,

Isn't this Photoshop thing an issue with Camera Raw?

Have you all updated your Camera Raw plugin to 3.1?

AFAIK that was resolved with CS and CS2 - the limited RAW interface was with PS 6.01
Always a good idea to have the latest RAW plug-in though...
