Mobile forum

How many people access this forum with a mobile device such as a PDA or mobile phone?

If so are there any plugins to the server software that will make it a bit more 'freindly' toward a mobile device?

I often use my iphone to check the goings on around here when I should be busy drinking tea, works alright for me :D

I often use a Nokia N95 8GB...the browser on there seems to cope with it quite nicely...

Google Mobile will do this with any web page. Strips out all the unwanted code.

click settings
then at format web pages for your phone click on

I often use my XDA to check out the forum either via wifi or via GRPS / 3G as I'm on an unlimited data usage policy.

Mostly OK, although if it was possible for the forum to send a low data version - eg no avatars, no sigs it would help :)

Whoops, think i just posted in a thread from 2005 :-D The mobile mode lists old threads first?

Quite possibly. It's there mainly for spidering purposes, but I think theres a PDA version. If you fire it up, click PDA at the top right. Dunno if it changes the order of things. It's one thing I've never tried using :) (Too poor to be able to own the technology that browses the forums while mobile :p)
