Nikon D200 Battery Suggestion?

I ordered a new second battery last night.
Just wondering what they're liek on battery though? I've heard bad things... But Is there anything you can do? Short of a battery grip?

Certainly thirstier than your D50 was!!!! Still stock up on them and you will be fine!!!

I have 3, but have never gone through more that 2 on a full days shoot and that can be up to 1000 pics with a quick check of the histogram on the screen every now and then. I reckon you will be fine with two batteries.

The grip is nice and balances the camera. However there have been some Quality issues and I suffered with one about a year ago when the grip failed and the camera froze in the middle of a job. Good reason to have a backup.

I think the prices of grips are tumbling now.... much cheaper than what they are charging for the D300 grip which is crazy!

Just seen this grip for £79 - you cant go wrong!
