Hi
Here is one from Hythe today... Processed in Aperture not Photoshop.
Comments would be welcomed trying to see if aperture will do as a one stop shop.

can't fault the processing
wonder if slightly more rope would have given more impact?
(I mean get closer to the rope so it's even thicker)

MMCP42..
Great minds think a like... I was just staring at the image on the screen and a what if moment hit me along those lines...
However I have just been having a conversation in my head relating to lead in lines.... and I was thinking that as is the rope leads you nicely to the focal point of the image...
But may be I should not listen to that little voice in my head to much....
Thanks for looking and the thoughts...
Cheers
Nigel...
Voice is now saying to return tomorrow and try out your idea... see what the weather is doing tomorrow...

I'd like to see the rope more in focus- so it'll probably need a re-shoot. F32 with a wideangle lens, long tripod exposure might do it? If the rope is moving in the wind you migh have problems achieving this!
The processing is good - it might be possible to get a more dramatic sky though by selecting different colour channels?

Many thanks for the comments...
This was a hand held shot all I could do at the time... but I was thinking of revisiting to try different comp.. so will make sure I have tri-pod with me..

i think its a great image, but i feel the rope should have been in focus all the way up.
its distracting being out of focus in the foreground
