I had to show this off, our universitys new open access studio.

One of two, the bigger one, with the scoop wall and all the lighting kit you could ever want.

The other studio is a little smaller but is the digital studio with all the sexy gubbins in...EXCITING.

Ok, ok so Im green with envy here.
Looks a fab set up!

Btw, your image is oversized (800px on the longest side). I can clip the image tags and leave the clickable link or you can resize the image, up to you.

Rough estimate. How much would a setup like this cost? Not including the space for it of course, just the equipment.

University of Central lancashire.

A little bit far for me. What are the chances a non student could walk in and use the studio without anyone realising?

Impossible, you need a key from stores, which is in turn only accessable with your UCLan Card.

Only what you see in the picture, there is:

4* Bowens Monoblocks
2* Softboxes
Bowens High Glide system (roof hanging)
Background holder
Background.

If you are using Bowens Highglide, you probably want to use the remote as well, so you don't have to bring the monoblocks down all the time.

Asuming that you looking at 750W monoblocks, you looking at about £2500 for the monoblocks, maybe £1000 for light modifiers, £500 for wireless controlers and remote, £300 for background and stand, $1500 (been a while since I checked the price on this) for the bowens high glide system. So that runs to about $6000 not including fitting for the lot. All these prices are off the top of my head (Don't ask me why I know all these prices off the top of my head).
