I couldn't believe it when a friend told me she had a tame magpie so i had to go and see, quite a friendly little thing really.

Aw :) My mum and dad used to have a pet magpie, his name was Charlie :D

Looks like a fluffy toy in that last one. Certainly does seem to be a young one. Be good to 'capture' him growing up :thumbs:

I see by your exif this is one of last years young. Is there a story behind it :shrug: Hope the wee fella made it and flew off to be with it wild friends :)

Yep he was found by my friend on a roundabout near her home, injured quite badly so she nursed it back to heath and now he is a regular visitor.

Unusual shots. We don't have any magpies up our way but a there are lots in and around edinburgh in gardens and public parks
