Its a First Thread for me so please bare:embarasse with me...

As a lot of you will not know i am a bit of a skint flint and tend to go for the cheapest there is around... So heres a bit of info i have found out this last few days of shopping about...

I have been looking for a (thanks to recommendations from a load of you)..:-
1...Sigma EF-500 DG Super EO-ETTL Flash..
and a..
2...Lowepro Slingshot 200AW Bag

I had a look on E-Bay, Jessops and Bristol Cameras (a local shop)...as well as loads more.

As follows my Results
1...Sigma EF-500 DG Super EO-ETTL Flash
Jessops --- £199.99 + Free P+P over £75
E-Bay -- £149.99 + £29.00 P+P (from Hong Kong) Buy It Now
Bristol/C --- £139.99 + £10.00 P+P :p

2...Lowepro Slingshot 200AW Bag
Jessops --- £68.99 + £5.00 P+P
E-Bay -- £55.95 + £7.50 P+P Buy It Now
Bristol/C --- £55.00 + £5.00 P+P :p

The only thing you need to be careful of when buying from dealers abroad on Ebay is customs charges! However, I bought my Nikon D70 from America via Ebay, and it still worked out about £200 cheaper than getting it from the UK - even with customs charges thrown in :)

I paid 69 quid for my Slingshot 200. Ok I could've paid £10 less (excl. P & P) but I got it there and then.

milou... i orderd mine today and am picking mine up tommorrrow... its cool and can't wait... no more squashed bag...:D

dod... had a look and its still cheeper at the shop... i will be playing with it tommorrow....:thumb:

minimeeze.... had a look at america and i will go for local .. quicker...;)
