Hey, I moved this from the general forum because I posted it there by mistake and I got told off last time:nono:
This was a 7 shot stitch using CS3 photomerge, I used a 0.9ND grad filter on the sky, I've reduced it by some margin to keep the file size down, C&C is welcome

Hi Pete
Considering this is 7 photos, it's very good as I can't tell. I'm not sure about the sun light though.
Nice blog though and I will be in touch about another photo on there.
Yep, like that! Good work in the stitching as well. Autostitch i assume?

Tnx, it's just photomerge set to auto, does a great job as long as you take the photos level, it probably does ok even if you don't!

It's frequently a conundrum to where to post some images, a townscape would normally be in the general forum , but as there is a touch of sea, this was probably considered a 'sea-scape' .
Anyway, I like the image, technically sound, well balanced exposure, and importantly it has a good 'feel' of Whitby.
Taken from around the Abbey ?
Your horizon is slightly off.

cheers Les,
It was taken with the abbey behind me, I don't usually do panos but I thought I'd give it a go as the light was so nice

I like how it fades from likje colourful and bright to dark and dismal.
Brilliant shot and i actually mean it, stands out to me from the rest of the pics on this website

Thanks Tom, I like the transition from bright to dark too. I was lucky really as it was a fairly dismal day!
