Spent yesterday afternoon at Fort Nelson which overlooks Portsmouth. Had a good play and took plenty of shots, most of which were not so good but for a newbie it was a valuable learning experience.

1. No it's not a green Dalek!

Nice shots, very sharp. Can I ask, do you have to pay to go in Fort Nelson? I used to play in there as a kid, it used to be derelict back in the early 70s.

It's free to get in although I think they charge when they run special events. The tunnel down to the magazines is fantastic.

There used to be these rollers that went underground down some tunnels and we used to sit on a bit of wood and travel into the darkness  could have been killed but hey that's what kids done in them days to get their kicks, I might go and have a look round tomorrow. Thanks.

lol! Too much lead in the water back then!
It does still roll. It's like a giant wooden tank track.
