View Full Version : Where to post conundrum

I occasionally have difficulties in deciding which section to post some of my images, for example a town or cityscape I generally post in the general forum, unless it has some 'sea' in it, then it becomes a seascape, and posted in the landscapes/scenery forum.

Probably my biggest conundrum, is when I want to post a series of images, say titled 'a mornings walk' which could include landscapes, animals, macros, plants, people etc.

Do I post them all under one title in general, or do I split and post in the relevant sections?

I don't really mind whatever is the correct place, but would appreciate a steer on this.

Thanks

are you sure this is posted in the right section? :bonk:

Technically, if you're not sure which forum to put it in, put it in the one you think is best. We're not anally retentive about the correct forums, especially where image sharing is concerned.

If you want to split them up for each section, thats fine :)
If you wanna lump them all together, then they would go in general.

Unless there are dozens upon dozens, I'd split them up personally if it were me posting.

Personally, I think Marcel's advice still applies.

And if you put something in the wrong place, one of us will just quietly shift it over, its no biggie. :)

On another similar note, is it too much to ask that if a thread gets moved, the mod who moved it could pm the op to let them know where to find it again so they dont have to search around for 10 -15 mins

Sometimes, yes ;)
