Friends out walking

Hi

This was taken in Sutton Park, Birmingam last Sunday...whilst out walking I spotted this lady and her dog relaxing in the sun.... i cheekily asked if I could take her picture.

Please give me your honest opinions to assist my learning.

Now this is lovely, and a good B&W conversion, a perfect 'moment in time'

I like it :) Love the eye contact with both of them (though hard to tell with the sunglasses, but she is looking the right way) I like the square crop and the composition, the highlight are a little blown on the dogs head and on its right hand side (our left) but looking at it the light looks quite harsh and it looks like not blowing the white would have been very hard, looks nice and sharp too :thumbs: Can't really say anything bad about it :) Doesnt tell much of a story I guess, but as a portrait it is very nicely done. Well done for plucking up the courage to approach a stranger too :)
