Taken at the RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss, sunshine was direct at the hide so I wasn't hopeful of the results, really quite chuffed though :)

Hope you like !
The hide was buzzing as this little guy was getting lunch, I counted 6 fish caught right in front of me before it took flight to the other side of the pond, first ever time I have seen one and am very happy with the shots although I am sure I can do something better if I run them through CS3, still a bit of a newbie so when this opportunity arose I went to 'P' mode to ensure I at least got something !

Given the light, they're pretty good. 5 and 6 work the best. Its a pity about the reeds/grass, but that's not down to you.

The Little Egret has quite a distinctive feathery crest and very noticeable yellow feet, So I think this is most likely to be another species, probably a Great White Egret?

Oh no, not this argument again, I like you thought at first this was a Great Egret and going from my book I still do, I have been shot down on other forums though and conceded defeat that it was a Little, even the Leighton Moss site lists the sighting as a Little !

I think I was told that a Juvenile Little does not have the crest, although how old a Juvenile is is open to interpretation ?

LOL. Well the head crest may be only visible in the breeding season, but the yellow feet has always been the positive identifier of a Little Egret for me. Rest assured we'll get some opinions on it and I'll abide by the majority. :D

3 and 5 for me. Number 3 would have been even better if you'd left a little room to the left of the frame for him to fly into.

Tis a Little Egret, Great White Egrets have a shorter yellow beak ;)

Nice set. It's a Little Egret, they can lack the head and back plumes in winter. Little Egret has blackish bill, Gt White has yellow bill.

Its not a Cattle Egret is it - one spotted near Carlisle http://www.cumberland-news.co.uk/news/viewarticle.aspx?id=795758

The photos in the paper (that they haven't reproduced on the web :( ) look similar
