As soon as I started to get my camera out today, this little Robin practically landed on it. The only reason I didnt post full frame was because in my haste to capture it, I cut his feet off.
So instead it became a birdy portrait!

Not the best I know but a first for me in respect of it being my first ever full frame, totally uncropped posted bird shot :woot:...

Sorry - I couldn't resist :naughty:

Cracking shots though. All really sharp and well composed etc... (except for the Michael Palin one, obviously - which is really fuzzy except for the twig bottom left, which is nicely focused)

Nice work. The first one is amazingly sharp and detailed. The others are also very nice, but could maybe benefit from even cleaner backgrounds if possible. :)

Rofl!!! Look it was late, I was tired... oh and its these nails, they slip on the wrong keys, err, what else... oh yeah and Im a bit of a pratt who doesnt read her own posts properly! :bonk:

Nice work. The first one is amazingly sharp and detailed. The others are also very nice, but could maybe benefit from even cleaner backgrounds if possible. :)

Thanks MK, youre right of course, Im still at the 'panic pressing' stage at the mo... see something close, and I just have to click!
Will try to consider the bg a little more, as well as perhaps taking the clippers to the bush!

A huge increase in quality of late just confirmed by these shots _ you've clearly got it sorted and I shall fret about you no more Glo. ;)

That full frame Robin shot is doing my head in. I'm sure there's some sort of witchcraft going on to fill the frame that well on a full frame sensor.

WOW, THEY'RE AMAZING!

The first one is fantastic, you can see each individual feather on Robin!

And I love the LTT's, they're so cute and you got some great shots of them!

Brilliant, keep up the good work!
