Managed to see the Lunar Eclipse last night as it was wonderfully clear over here in Toronto. I just wish I had a bigger zoom so I could have got more detail, but.........

Anyway, it was bloody freezing standing around taking the photos (-20c) and this is the only one I've processed. It's a heavy crop and a wee bit noisy.

I was lucky as the eclipse was taking place about 10pm over here, so that was perfect, unlike in the UK when it was the middle of the night.

I wish I could have gotten some shots around 6pm last night as the moon was low on the horizon, huge and almost like a Harvest Moon. Wonderful colours but I've got too many houses on my horizon in the way.

Nice to see a shot of it. I missed it I'm afraid - at 3am, my priority lies in sleeping! :D

Had a look about 2am, not much showing.
Had a look about 3am, cloudy, but, the most beautiful sight ive seen at night, The sky was bright orange, yes, in the middle of the night, gone was the blackness, it was like a sunrise.
