These guy where on a mission when this photo was taken at Slimbrdige yesterday in quite low light and the flash did not fire:'(, so I've had to do a lot of work to get it seem reasonable, but it is still noisy. :'(

What I am looking for is your opinion on the composition. Do you think it works?

It's a great shot, it's not overly noisy and the flash might have taken more than it would have given anyway. :D

As for the composition, I'd personally go for a tighter crop to really get in on the action. Also there is some great detail with the birds in the background on the left of the frame and this shows a bit more of that.

dazzajl, thanks for the edited picture below:thumbs:. The tighter crop does give a greater impact from the photo. As you mentioned the birds in the background are brought out more in your crop, but I do find them a little distracting now:bang:. Just an idea may need to clone them out know. I'll try it tonight and see what happens.

Did the edit as promised. Not had a chance to add a frame as that does set the photo off nicely. Removing the geese in the back ground I think as cleaned up the image greatly.
