hiya....am fairly new to this photography lark and i thought it would be useful to me and others if someone would be really kind and write a list of the abbreviations that are floating around on peoples comments and what they mean ?????:)

LOL = laugh out loud
DoF = Depth of field
HDR = High Dynamic Range
AF = Autofocus
IMHO = In My Humble Opinion

The only abbreviation you ever need:

JFGI.

Just _blank_ Google It.

Although there still is a lot of controversy on it's origins and real original meaning.

Was in a meeting today and after a recent takeover from a 'big' company we all need a key as to WTF the abbs mean !
