Here are 2 shots of a Robin that came and stood next to me at Etherow park. I was sat down at a fishing post watching the birds on the water, when this brave Robin came and stood next to me. He was only around a foot away from me and every time I moved away to get a shot as it was to close, he would move up to me even more. He kept hanging around me for around ten min's and only left my side when I got up and walked away. I took around 10 frames and thought I would share these 2 with you all.

Lovely shots! Nice and sharp.
I love robins, they're soo beautiful!
Think Id nip a bit off the top of the 1st shot too.
Its a lovely shot though, has a nice traditional wintery feel.
Like the other shot too, but #1 is my fave.

Thanks, I know what you mean about the top of the 1st shot though. I left it like that as I was thinking of using it as an Xmas card and left the space for the words. But ye I should crop it a bit more for this kind of thing.

It must be all the free food they get from people, making them more friendly. If I had any food I bet he would have had it from my hand.
 Lovely shots.
I had a look at your exhibition at Etherow last week.
Enjoyed it, some great pictures and you'll be pleased to know that there were quite a lot of people admiring your work.

Superb shots the local robins are probably used to the fishermen and after some magots.

If you were on a fishing platform he is probably used to being fed juicy maggots by the anglers.
Nice pics though.
