View Full Version : My first barn owl perch shot

Can you believe it! you just don't know when they going to pop up. This was on my way home and I had the camera on the seat ready, just in case.

Ive alway wanted a perch shot to add to my flight one and Im happy that this one held up to a big crop.

Although the light was'nt ideal, I think it may have added to the image.

Well another shot in the bag, makes up for the fieldfairs not showing.
And I really do hope the lapwings are there tomorrow.

With such a big crop I wasnt hopeful of a print but is has quite well. :thumbs:

Seem the barn owl has some fans

This was taken on the road between sea pauling and ingham.

check a map but might be to far to travel if they dont turn up :shake:

Just had a look and it's gonna be a 2 hour drive, prob be too far just on the chance that i'd see them :(

Think the zoo would be a better place to see these types of birds for me :insert crying smilie:
