View Full Version : Deckchairs and Sunset :)
Wandered down to Brighton pier a couple of days ago and managed to catch the sunset - a great shade of orange! Here's a few I liked best. The sky is not great in a couple though :(

I quite like the first one Han, whats it like in colour?
Love the sky in the last one - the chairs don't look right though, too much flash maybe?

I took it originally in black and white, thought i had a colour version too but just looked and i dont! Hmmm thats annoying.
Toothie - yea i had that thought about the chairs, i was just using the inbuilt flash, which i did as it made the colours in the sky stand out better but it has made the chairs look a bit dodgy!
Thanks for the comments guys :)
Hanc - you should be able to adjust the flash level in the camera menu somewhere depending on the camera.
God I totally didnt think of that!! haha will have to have a fiddle about so I remember for next time :) Thanks
no worries glad to help out :)

Lovin one and three Han.
Are you shooting RAW? you could dial down some of that highlight in the last I would think. ...good shot and effect nonetheless. ... real shame about the first in black and white only, bummer...that'll teach ya. ;)

I shot in jpeg as I have had some problems with editing RAW images on my computer, I need to have another go at sorting it out!
Thanks a lot for the comment, much appreciated :)
