Got loads of robin shots today and couldn't choose what to post so here is a large handfull of them!

WOW, they are all fantastic!

I love robins, and I love seeing photo's of robins!

My favourite is probably no.2 as the photo is really clear and you can see the detail of the feathers on the Robin.

All the rest are great, beautiful colours, when the Robins on the grass, and it looks really good when the Robin is by the water!

A lovely selection of photographs! Robin's are such cheeky little chaps :) lovely clear shots too.

I can only pick 1 and that no.7 because of the eye level and the pose, apart from that there all good

I dont believe you wont post any more :D

Super set of our diminutive Robin there Stuart ... :thumbs: ... I can see why you had difficulty choosing which to post as they are all class images ... :shrug:


My choice would have been 3 as it is just all round excellent ... :D

great set!, its nice to see one by the water and on the ground too, nice contrast.

make a change from the bird on the twig shot,

did you get muddy shotting down that low?

Wow..thanks for the positive comments everyone..Hairy he was a bit of a poser wasn't he..lol..and know didn't even have to bend down to get that low angle..;):D..all shot through glass as well.

You've got a very nice set of robin shots here Stuart. As others have said it is nice to see some that aren't on branches. I think they are all very good especially the 4th one near the water.:thumbs:

Thanks lammie..some are a bit dark due to me under exposing so I had a half decent shutter speed but managed to lighten them up in pp ok..wish my 100-300mm had OS on it..:lol:

Lovely set of Robins, well captured. Number one has great composition and is my pick of the bunch. Good work :)

Really nice set of images. I was trying to take a photo of a Robin yesterday, quite hard when he keeps flying around to different trees!! Were these shot at 300mm then??

These are fab Stuart, seriously hard to choose which I like best, but both my daughter and I love the first one where it is by the water. Pretty amazing these were through glass too - mustve been VERY clean glass.

All lovely ... and you can never post too many Robins!
My faves are the waters edge ones, a shot Ive personally not sen of a Robin before. :thumbs:
