where were all the metros? i was totally confused by the whole thing and only manages to get to 2 stages

Same here Gary... I got to the Wareham stage and the .. errrr.... one that started at 5 ish..

and im from the area!!!

All the Metro's were a Somerley Park. There was a static display......then after the first run through of the competition cars they opened part of the stage and all the 6R4's went out to play:woot:

Love those Metros - they are nuts!

Pics are looking a little flat and dull though - even for an overcast day... I know its wonderful in hindsight, but perhaps a little higher ISO might have been the way forward?

I noticed you were in full manual mode, I think in TV mode you would have found the camera giving you complaints unless you have the "shot saver" on...
