welcome to the forum
just a tip for you, but most of those shots look like they were shot with too high shutter speed.
taking the last shot of the mini, the EXIF says you used 1/800 shutter speed. The high shutter speed has almost frozen the car making it look like its not moving. If you'd used something like 1/200 the car would have looked faster and you'd have also got more light onto the sensor enabling you to use a much lower ISO.
Thanks for the tip :) This was my 1st effort of track stuff with the bigma, it has no IS so camera shake can be bad at times hence the higher speeds lol will deffo try lower speeds though, thanks :D

Gary is right about the shutter speed, but on the other hand not all of those are that high - #6 of the escort is actually quite nice (and 1/160th which is fine!), although my own *personal* suggestion would be to try and get multiple cars in as much as possible which gives it more of a race feel than someone out for a Sunday drive.
Not bad at all! I would echo the shutter speed comments above.
I see these were taken at Luffield. How did you shoot through the fence? Were you right up against it?

another good tip there.
and your third good tip of the day: try a monopod for somewhere like silverstone where you are far from the action and need a big one (lens that is)
if your new to the game, feel free to ask anyone here for advice. there are a lot of good photographers on this forum who are happy to help. (and some rubbish ones, and some that arent happy to help :) :) - just joking)
Thanks for the advice, i was using a monopod, bigma gets a bit heavy handholding after a while lol, i was right back from the fence, high enough up to see over it :)
