Not too pleased with these. My first choice of spot wasn't great and then my battery ran out before I could move elsewhere :bonk:

My first time at this sort of thing. Looking at the other submissions I think I could have got away with a slower shutter speed and a slightly deeper DOF. Ah well there's always next time...

Your colours are amongst the best I have seen posted up on here... yes, some of your shutter speeds are too high (not that I can tell how high because you havent kept the EXIF info in these pictures)

Other things you might like to think about is that you have those cars pretty much centre frame, which also doesnt help the idea of movement.

The safety car one is my fave (ahhh another early Escort!) but with a bit more space in front it might have worked better.

Lastly, some of these shots are not the native 2:3 aspect ratio, which is something personally i try to avoid...

But that's just my opinion and this is art which is really subjective at all times!!

i nearly didnt bother looking at the shots after you did them down in your intro, but i really like the escort photo. its a really good shot IMHO

Thanks! Haven't done any PP to the Colours / Sats. Have now edited the OP with the EXIF.

Serves me right for applying the rules of 3rds. Will think about this a bit!

This is a slight crop I think I will put the original frame up and see what you think. Sheer fluke I was just working out the light / ISO etc and it flew by so I tried to get a shot!

As I was cropping merrily away wondering whether I should retain an aspect ratio for this.

No worries it's appreciated. My first Rugby shots were awful and the helpful people on here put me in the right direction. Now the same applies for Motorsports (hopefully!).
