No need to apologize for crackin shots like those !
Why can't I take pictures like that ?
I bet those safari bars on that mk1 escort are a PITA at times
Just looking at these on your Flickr Iain. The yellow Evo is my pick from that lot, but they're all technically excellent. That new Nikon kit is certainly doing the biz!

Now THOSE are better colours... there is no EXIF info in those or a sig telling me what kit you are using... but those are nice! *edit* Oh hang on its YOU Iain! Sorry! I know what you are using... that damned ninja D3 :D
Shutter speed, colours and by and large composition... except maybe the side on shots need a bit more room in front of the car, but hey, I goof that one enough that I shouldnt be critical :D
Good hit!
Actually, I would confidently say that with the number of sets of this rally on here this shows the technical dominance of Nikon's latest babies really nicely... I'm really thinking of jumping ship here!

Hi Gribbsy, thanks for posting.
Destanik, towards the end of the day I was using 1600iso which includes some of the posted pictures.
So far so good, will keep you posted.

Since you told me at Brands the other day about your jump from Canon I have been having serious thoughts about the same...

As I said at Brands, I was a very happy Canon user but the circumstances that followed my repair's pushed me down the Nikon route.
I will be the first to tell you if it doesn't work out.:)
