View Full Version : Ladybird - First Day with Nikon 60mm f/2.8D

My Nikon 60mm f/2.8 finally came yesterday and I was so happy. Then this morning I was getting ready for college and this laydbird was on my floor. Got my macro lens and started shooting.

I didnt really know what to do a little bit and I was little bit rushed for time :'( What do you guys think?? Any tips as well?

Excellent first shots, congrats on the new lens, they are all nice and sharp.
Shooting with white backgrounds can be quite hard, No4 is definately the best of them.

Nice and sharp :thumbs::thumbs: but I'd have liked to see it with a more matural bg and a tighter crop.

I'm not really a fan of cropping my photos :( sorry but I know what you mean!

Fair enough, it's just with insect/spider macro etc I like to have the subject closer so greater detail can be seen.

:agree: very nice to see a ladybird! and not a common seven spot :thumbs:
