Done a fair bit of reading but can't see any reference to Sigma lenses with IS. Is it safe to assume they don't do it? TIA.
regards
I think they have their own version, but I'll be damned if I can remember the name for it.
Its called OS for optical stabilisation. :)

Sigma have OS (Optical Stabalizer?). Only lens I know has it is a 80 to 400 zoom, but there may be more.

I tried it before getting the 100-400. Make your own mind up but I found it noisy and VERY slow to focus.

I think you may be right. As far as I can make out it is only the 80-400 that has OS. They really need to put it in more of their lenses.

Just done a trawl and came up with that lens. Any ideas how it racks up against IS?

No worries, I've just had a look on Fred Miranda. Apparantly it stands up very well. Thanks for all replies.
