I got my camera out today, i havent had the chance to take anymore photos. So i went up today and took some.

What a beautiful horse :) Second one is my favourite out of the two. Has a "classic" look about it.

i like the secound the black and white works well! it would be nicer if you go closer and filled more of the frame though, get rid of some of the dead space! well done though these are good!

The first isn't quite working because you can't see the eye. The seconds a nice portrait but there's too much empty space at the top. Hope you don't mind but here's two similar shots I took of the wife's old horse which show what I mean. Seconds a bit soft but.... :)

This might sound a really stupid question.. but when you say soft how do you mean?? anything i can work on etc :) would be grateful!

I'm just meaning it isn't quite as sharp as I'd have liked, the focus is slightly behind the eye, more on the mane. The wife likes it though :p
