Hey thanks alot for the comments,im looking forward to the field being nice and red again like it is every year. hopefully i will get some better shots this year.

Nice shot, but I think it would have worked better if the focal point had been the poppies in the foreground.

Well now Im a little more familiar with my camera & have more then the 50mm to play with, Im hoping this (http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=8252&highlight=Poppy+field) Poppy field wil be in bloom again this year.


A rather pityful example in comparisson to your shot, but just incase.. heres a substantial crop of the guy I accidently caught in the Kiddie field...
