My Trip to Salford Quays

Well seeing as though the weather was quite nice yesterday I thought I would have a dabble at this architecture business. I thought it would be a good opertunity to give my new D200 a bash and see what I can do with it. I have never actually been to the Quays before, I was really supprised at the size of everything! Some of the flats were for sale at £800k plus!

Anyhow, would like some comments on the following please. Good or bad. :)

I also tried a panoramic picture, never even attempted one before so was just a case of, lets just start and the right and work to the left and then let PS stitch it all for me :D There are 8 shots in total.

I nipped down Salford last Thursday teatime, forgot my tripod and tried to cram some shots in before dark...Terrible results and quite possibly the worst photo session I've had so far :'(

I prefer the cranes of all of these, a great shot. I'd be dead chuffed to have taken any of these, actually! :clap:

Love the Panorama, pitty I couldn't join you looks like it was a good day.

Though I think you may be out of luck with posting the cranes for the Comp even if you have removed it as the photo has been on the forum :rules:. To save youself any disapointment perhaps you sould check with the Mods. Hope for your sake you can because it looks great. If you can't I like the Quays Flats image from Flickr as an alternative.

Love the pics you have taken, i am here in the quays at the minute. I only come over to england a few times a year (working abroad at present) and have been in Manchester all week, i have walked along the keys every night waiting for some decent skyline but managed to pick the worst week for storms this winter period. I am hoping to get some decent shots tommorow if the weather permits, before i fly home again.

I think I could do with another trip here sometime. Last time I went was earlier this year with Jimmy Lemon and after sitting in Burger King mustering up the courage, we ventured outside and tried to get some shots in the biting cold.....

Not many of mine turned out pleasing though ;)
