Thats not 'nowear' That's Bradgate Park! (I think)
A few points to consider:
+ You need to straighten the horizon.
+ It looks a tad over saturated to me.
+ As you said yourself; it's a path to nowear(sic). There's no point of interest. Your eye gets drawn up the path (and it's not a particularly nice/interesting path) and then has nothing to look at.
Sorry, doesn't do anything for me. Keep at it though!!
Garry, I don't think that's a wonky horizon, it's a hill. Also the colours look OK here, are you calibrated properly?
I do agree that the path doesn't really take the eye anywhere but hey, we learn by doing. :D

I know there's a hill, but the trees look slightly off the vertical (might just be my eyes!!:eek:).

Yes, I am with the others. It's lop-sided, even with a hill it can be straightened a little. Hope you don't mind, I've had a play with it and edited it from the angle to the colours etc to how I would have probably processed it...

Just an idea, probably not to everyone's liking. Just giving you an option from another point of view.
