View Full Version : FINALLY... I Have One!!
I know, I know, nobody really like's these "I got a new" threads...
...but I'm SO happy I don't care :bum1:  :woot: etc.
This has been on my wish list since I got my DSLR, and seeing the results from a few members here made me want it even more! Unfortunately I wasn't able to buy new but I think I got a good deal on this near mint copy (not a mark on the lens itself, just a single small scratch on the hood, optic's are as clear as, erm, L glass ;) ) delivered to my door for £730.
Anyway, sorry for the interruption, normal service will now continue :getmecoat
Please, no grief on the hastily shot pic.

How much:shock:
Sounds like you got an absolute bargain, aswell as a great lens - Happy Hunting:thumb:
Send it back, it's got a blurry bottom :D
I don't mind these threads personally, I think it's nice to see such enthusiasm about getting new kit. I always love the feeling of buying something new and treating myself, that first feeling of opening the box, the anticipation of the postie, and just as equally, shouting about it from the rooftops :D
So please excuse me while I revel in your thread (albeit with a big touch, nay slap of jealousy :D)
it's got a blurry bottom :D
I SAY!!!!

Hehe, congrats on the new toy :)
Gets a bit heavy when you have carried it around all day.... but I'm sure you won't care about that ;)
Congrats.

You've had a barging, where did you get it from for that price.:thumb:
Have fun with it , anything thats got settings for 'Smooth - Tight' is cool :innocent:

Enjoy it, supposed to be a great bit of kit.
Have to adjust the colour balance - I've just turned GREEN!

I even asked for no grief on the dodgy pic... but there's allways one ;) :D Saying that, I'd probably get even more if I let it known that I used automatic settings  :embarasse

Your right about that :D but I'm a (very) big boy, so I think I'll cope.
