First shots!

Finally got my Canon 400D on Sunday and today I took it up to the top of the mountain I live on earlier.

I was mostly just getting to grips with the camera and enjoying the freedom of manual.

Hoping for some C+C on these, but keep in mind my first time out with the camera :lol:

Oh yeah, I haven't edited these at all yet. I only have photoshop elements on this PC. I'm going to wait until I go back into college so I can do it on CS2.

3rd shot is a winner for me, possible a little brighter,
First not bad but sky is bleached out a bit weather is not the best and no easy task, looks like chromatic aberation around the tree branches but could be my eyes.
Keep at it i would recommend a polariser filter just a cheep one would get you some better results with your sky i feel, heck mine was about £4 second hand ill get a better one later on oh thats a circular polariser bye the way.
Keep ejoying your camera and as digital its not costing a fortune to experiment.

I thought a polariser filter was included in the deal I got for my camera, but turns out I just miss read the page =/ But yeah I will be getting one.

I quite like 2 and 3.
