Fuji Finepix S2 pro 2nd generation but still a film camera

Had a hour to kill, a broken S2 and a small screwdriver hmmmm

Took it apart to find the spaces for film, so even though it's 2nd generation it's still a modified film camera, wonder if the other manufacturers cameras are the same and when they became digital from the ground up.

The S2 pro (my first digi SLR!), was based on a Nikon F80 body (as was, I think, the D100). The S3 pro was the first Fuji to use a custom built body.
