A local match being played today proved to be the most difficult thing I've tried to photograph, its damn near impossible. Another local press tog seems to think football is harder as they move faster ... Pfft!!, least the ball is at thier feet and not being hidden under a jersey while hecking fundreds of big blokes keep getting in the way!

Going down ?

I'd be very pleased to have captured those.

Looking at them there is something about them that is different to sports shots I have seen on POTN. Your shots are from a higher viewpoint. Guess the norm must be to squat down for sports.

Cheers guys, Robert - depends on the sport in my case, the problem I've found (today) is that if you squat and the player come near you, the shot become very odd looking, ie: all legs and a tiny torso, I try and keep eye level unless I'm trying to give the impression of a little more altitude, (car or bike jump shots for example or buildings at wide angles)

Good action shots there (coming from someone who doesn't like footy or rugby) ;)
