Hi all

This was my entry into the "Family" Comp. It did get a couple of votes which was nice as to be honest I wasn't sure if anyone would think it fitted the theme.

It was one of the shots I've handed in as course work on a Landscape photography course at Lancaster Uni. There were 5 othersin the set and I was quite pleased when they were printed, but still have a lot to learn. Had horrendous problems trying to use an ND filter that day (not on this shot) as the camera just wouldn't take the photo. I know it must be something I was doing wrong as I only got it to actually take about once.

I guess I was kind of looking for peoples views. Am I heading in the right direction. This was converted from colour, does the conversion work? I have had it printed and it seems ok but I've only really just started to convert to B & W.

Thanks for any input and things I could improve on.

Oh i like this, I like the way the picture pulled me to the right side of it and then sent me over to look at the mountings.

Very well done my friend

Thanks, only had it printed 10 x 7 to mount on card to hand in to the tutor.
Haven't had any feedback from the course yet at all so don't know if he liked my shots or not.

I should maybe post some of the others on here to see what folks think.
