I've been reading for a while and enjoy the pictures posted, stunning to me - thanks!
I was taking photos of a local football match last year, it was sunny with really dark low cloud moving fast (for a cloud) and took this picture missing the game completely. I normally leave the Ap at 2.8 and try to get the fastest speed I can. I saw the cloud and must have closed the ap to F8 and pointed and squirted. I think the xdata is shot, it says F8 at 1/2500s.
Is that shadow the sun reflecting off the lower cloud onto the cloud above?
Any clues and tips (apart from get another camera).
I'll try to show the pic now...
