1. Standard night shot. Now this looks a lot better uncompressed, anyone know why it affects some pictures much worse than others? Its had very little editing done to it (just auto-levels I think) and I just resized using Aperture like I do with all my shots..

2. Just after I took this the bigger boat smashed into the single capsizing him. They stopped to laugh, then rowed off and left him..

Very nice shots mate, although 1 and 3 look the best and prob leaning slightly to number 1 which colours look great, only been to Melb once so is this shot taken from near the Crown Casino ? :thumbs:

Cheers mate, yeah, taken from Southbank just down from Crown. Looking at #2 now, bit annoyed I cut the arch off, think I was a bit too excited playing with my new NDs. :)
Unrelated note, I don't know how you guys survive over there, my camera was literally too hot to hold today. And 27 degrees last night! What's that about?? Damn heatwave. Roll on Autumn I say.

Lived in Perth all my life so just get used to it i spose. We have sent a little over your way of late, gota share it around eh. I love the heat although to many days in a row over 40c gets abit much, Water the main prob but same all states, gota couple rallys in Lower Templestowe and Werribee, loved the night life in Melb :woot: Anyway enjoy your photography m8... :thumbs:
