I can almost remember the summer, I spent most of it in plaster after an accident in May, But wow, what a fantastic shot, Im wanting to go to a few airshows this year as it is something that I have never photographed. Any tips would be most welcome.

Nice pic, Roll on the summer, no more freezing your nuts off wandering around looking for pictures

Matty, I'm with you, defiantly want to go to more Motor Racing events. This year I just want to make sure that I go further a field than Brands Hatch, last year it was the only track I went to (Guess that's me being lazy).

I'm looking forward to summer for the first time in my life (I'm a winter boy at heart).

Why? So I can get my summer lens out...my Sigma 70-300 APO DG.
It's never chuffin fast enough in the winter, not enough light :p (Below 7.1 it's quite soft :( )

Bah - I hate summer, too damn hot. Struggle to sleep in the winter, becomes a waking nightmare trying to sleep in the summer - nice Tornado though:thumb:

I'm looking forward to summer aswell :)

I'll be visiting a couple of airshows when I'm over in England myself, as Duxford is just down the road, were I can give the newly aquired Canon 100-400L IS a good workout... but there'll also be zoo's etc. in the mean time :thumb:

Can't wait :snap1:

Absolutely no airshows for me, not even a slight chance.

I doubt very much I could even get pictures like that, especially as I only have a little Canon A95. I'd need a damn tall ladder

I'll be staying focussed on the ground with a few visits to music festivals :)

.. especially as I only have a little Canon A95.

Funny you state that camera Steve, as I notice this guy got fed up with DSLR & moved to the A95 & is producing some cracking shots here (http://www.ephotozine.com/user.cfm?user=32827&showcase=off#photos)
