You want to see grainy - I am just scanning a few pictures taken on a film that was known then as 'recording film', used mainly by the police, and the instructions told what settings to use if the 'suspect' was under a street light or whatever...
Hold on, they are coming....

Steve you are mining gold with scanning these old photos - the way the light is on the double bass, hands and face is really emotive.

He was playing with Stefane Grappelli, the late jazz violinist, and there are plenty more, as and when I get time to scan them...
