Took this shot from one of Old Rigas landmarks St Peter's Church. You have to go up the tower for a wonderful view of the old city. I managed to pluck up the courage to go up and then had to take a deep breath in order to get close to the edge to take pictures. I'm actually quite proud of my accomplishment. Quite like my picture as well :)

Congratulations on suppressing your fear,
Photography is helping...
Nice shot little distracting been washed out a bit to the left with the sky.
I was at go ape in buxton with the young firefighters helping out walking and swinging through the trees, only had little point and shoot with me as metal body and too risky 150ft up and more.

Like that & well done. Now tell me. Did you get out into the countryside & the forests. I am told they grow some lovely timber!

Sawman - Unfortunately I didn't my stay was work related and I was confined to Riga not that I'm complaining it's a beautiful city well worth a visit.
Glad you like the photo :)
