Hiya all, As many of you are much more capable than myself with PS I wondered if anybody could tell me how to embed keywords and copyright info into a photograph with cs. mainly for use in library images.

Goto file> File info

Enter the data you want then save the image.

Now if someone could tell me how to keep the EXIF info when using 'Save for web', I'd be truly grateful :D

It's really easy Marcel, don't use save for web....

"Save As" then choose JPEG from pulldown of filetypes ;)

This is quite silly and as far as I know there is no way to keep the exif when using save for web, if you use "save as" although you can manually adjust the slider for the amount of compression you can't actually see the amount of compression and its effect on your image. Not good.

Definitely room for Adobe to improve here. :)

On CS2 there is preview box to tick when doing the above Steve, so you can see impact. Not sure for other versions.

Cheers for that Dave, I have CS2 so I will have a look at that option next time I have a minute :)
