As title says really, I want to see some long exposures. I recently bought a ND8 filter and have en route from America a MC-20 remote so I can now do exposures up to 9hr 59mins and 59 seconds!
Wouldnt mind some inspiration if thats not asking too much?

Not sure if it counts, as it is only 30 secs and no ND filter used.

So you got the ND8 and the MC-20 without really knowing what you wanted to do with 'm...?

'Asking for some inspiration' is asking what to do with 'm, JimBob...

I see your point but the answer is yes, I know how to use them but wouldnt mind seeing some other people pictures to see what other people can do with them. Asking for inspiration doesnt mean that I dont know what to do with 'm.
Cheers Tom, thats what I'm looking for :D
Here are my latest 2.

Wow Biko they are ace, looks like its going to be clear skies this way for the next few nights so i'll see what I can do!
Oh poo, just realised the remote wont be here yet :(
I love those Biko! The second looks amazing but the house seems to be glowing or something. The third is nice with the night sky and stars on the left and the sunset on the right.

Thanks the glow of the house is possibly due to the outside light which I switched on for 3 secs, and the smoke from the wood burning stove, I was hoping for a glow out of the chimney but gave up feeding the fire as wife and child were starting to complain of heat exhaustion - they couldn't move to another room as switching a light on was forbidden :D and the room they were in I blacked out you can see the window far right. Lights on cottage were switched on just for 5 secs.
The others the sunset is actually light pollution I was there at dead of night and could hardly see a thing.

Biko, are these digital or scanned from negs/slide?
The reason I ask is that I understood long exposures suffered from quite a bit of noise but these look to me clean as a whistle.
Digital, I didn't use the NR in camera as it doubles the time, I just cloned out any hotspots.

Biko, I've looked in your profile but you don't list a camera, which one do you use as a matter of interest?
That was using a Canon 20D and 16-35 L 2.8
I'l add my stuff on my profile as I've not posted on a forum which is more than 1 camera make
