They arnt bad, but neither are super sharp. Huge crops?

Looks like they have been cropped tons and lost a lot of quality :(

Otherwise they're very good - composition etc is spot on.

Both were at iso 1600 and 1/2000th as I grabbed these whilst trying to get goldfinches in flight - Considering the lack of noise I was pleased with the result compared with the 350D this would be as if iso 400 or less had been set! Well pleased with the 40D.
