70-200 weekend (Seagull)

Hired a 70-200 2.8 L IS from lensesforhire.com for this weekend, assuming I'd use it at yesterdays wedding (didnt!) and that we'd have some decent weather... wrong!

The lense is one hell of a beast, seeming heavier than my 100-400 but so much sharper! Here's the only reasonable shot I've managed... hopefully more tomorrow!

It is a beast!! I replaced my 100-400 with it and a 2x extender...no real drop in image quality, but the 2.8 is so versatile when on its own!
